Felidhoo Island Discover the Heart of Vaavu Atoll

About Felidhoo, Vaavu Atoll

Nestled in the heart of Vaavu Atoll, Felidhoo is a peaceful Maldivian island where turquoise lagoons meet traditional island life. At Oshi Boutique Hotel, we bring you closer to the essence of this hidden paradise, from untouched beaches and local culture to exciting excursions across the atoll

  • Felidhoo is part of Vaavu Atoll (also known as Felidhoo Atoll), about 77 km south of Malé, the capital of the Maldives.

  • The island is home to a small community of a few hundred people, giving it a close-knit, village feel. Vaavu Atoll is one of the least populated atolls, giving Felidhoo a serene, uncrowded vibe.

  • The waters around the island are rich in marine biodiversity, with manta rays, sharks, turtles, and colorful reefs. Its authenticity makes it a popular choice for travelers seeking a real Maldivian experience rather than a resort holiday.

  • It’s a small island, walkable in under 30 minutes, surrounded by turquoise lagoon waters and lush greenery.

  • Felidhoo serves as the administrative capital of Vaavu Atoll.
