Speedboat Transfers

The most convenient way to reach Felidhoo is by speedboat. Shared and private transfers (such as Dream Speed) run daily from Malé or Velana International Airport. The trip takes about 1.5 hours, covering approximately 75 km across the turquoise waters of Vaavu Atoll.

  • Schedules: Speedboats usually depart in the morning and afternoon (commonly around 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and mid-afternoon).

  • Cost: Around USD 40–60 one way per person.

  • Recommendation: This is the most popular and time-efficient choice for visitors, offering direct and comfortable travel.

Public MTCC Ferry

For those traveling on a budget, the MTCC public ferry network connects Malé with Vaavu Atoll. The route typically runs:

  • Malé to Fulidhoo: About 3–3.5 hours.

  • Fulidhoo to Felidhoo: About 2 hours, available daily except Fridays.

In total, the ferry journey takes 5–6 hours but costs only a few dollars. While slower and less frequent than speedboats, this option offers a more local travel experience.
